The Council brings together the professional bodies engaged in work and health to provide an authoritative and representative ‘single voice’ on health and wellbeing issues.

It also provides an opportunity for co-ordinated and integrated working on all issues which impact on the provision of health and wellbeing services by facilitating the sharing of information to promote improvement. The Council’s vision is to maximise the health and well-being of the UK working age population.
