The London Centre for Work and Health (LCWH) is a cross-institutional partnership involving Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust, King’s College London, Imperial College London, University College London, Queen Mary University of London and Affinity Health at Work. The LCWH aims to build and support research capacity in the field of work and health research across London and beyond.

The LCWH vision is to facilitate working-age people to have and maintain healthy, fulfilling work through a multidisciplinary research centre focusing on work and health. The LCWH will increase capacity in work and health research by fostering academic collaboration and encouraging and nurturing researchers in this field.

The centre comprises six primary areas of interest, with expert theme leads:

  • Medical statistics and epidemiology (Dr Georgia Ntani)
  • Mental health and data linkage(Dr Sharon Stevelink and Dr Danielle Lamb)
