What is PAM Wellness?
PAM Wellness offers support to help members look after their health and wellbeing. This may include access to guidance, advice, or additional help when it’s needed.
What is available?
Counsellor Support
Our UK-based members have access to free, confidential health and wellbeing support over the phone. While this is not ongoing counselling, it provides a space to talk things through, explore options for support in your area, and consider practical next steps. Whether you’re facing challenges related to stress and anxiety, bereavement, relationship issues, or financial wellbeing, help is just a phone call away.
The support line can help with a wide range of issues, including (but not limited to):
- Emotional and mental health – such as stress, anxiety, trauma, or low mood
- Life events and relationships – including bereavement, separation, family conflict, or caring responsibilities
- Health and wellbeing concerns – such as living with long-term illness, infertility, or understanding a diagnosis
- Practical and financial matters – including financial wellbeing, legal information, and retirement planning
The phone line is available 24/7 for UK-based members, and their family or dependents. Â Â If all the counsellors are busy, there is the facility to leave a voicemail and be called back.
You can also access a web chat facility through the Champion Health app.
Health and Wellness Application
All members also have access to a free, dedicated App – through the website or on your phone. The “Champion Health” platform features health assessments, personalised plans, webinars, and a huge range of health content. The platform supports you across the four key pillars of wellbeing – Mental Health, Physical Health, Financial Wellbeing, and Social Wellbeing, providing:
- Â Tailored wellbeing programmes based on information you provide and your goals
- Â Expert-led masterclasses and monthly webinars
- Â Engaging podcasts and insightful articles
- Â Healthy recipes and workout videos
- Â 24/7 access via mobile app and desktop portal
- Â Confidential support tools and signposting to further help
You’ll be asked to create a login using your preferred email and password, followed by a short PIN. As part of registration you can choose areas of health and wellbeing that you are most interested in, and share information about any existing health concerns that you have. There are also some questions about your current health and lifestyle. This can take a few minutes, but ensures that you get information that is tailored to your needs.
We’ll provide regular details of webinars that are available through the platform and highlight key features.
