Course overview
NPAG’s Clinical Professional Development for Occupational Health Professionals training provides evidence-based knowledge, theory and professional confidence and competencies. It is specifically aimed at professionals working in Occupational Health.
There are 8 one-day modules, each introducing recent research and developments and teaching critical thinking:
- COSHH Health Surveillance
- Employment & Pre-Placement Health Assessment
- Fitness for Work
- Human Factors in OH, Ergonomic Assessment & Adjustments
- Long-Term Condition, Health & Disability Management
- Noise & Vibration Health Surveillance & Case Management
- Occupational Health Risk Assessment
- Performance & Attendance
Each module will:
- Enable participants to hit the ground running in clinical practice.
- Provide the daily clinical and professional skills required to undertake duties.
- Give the clinical skills to support further academic qualifications and training.
Applicants are encouraged to attend as many or as few modules as they feel necessary. 8-12 participants per workshop. Each module takes place over one full day.
