The Charlie Mayfield, Keep Britain Working – Final Report is probably the most galvanising government-based report in a long time. The report has led to a lot of conversation and response, spurring many to look at both the implications for workplace health but also inferences for skilled professionals working in this space.

There have been numerous responses, both critical and supportive. Including ours within iOH and the Council.

IOH and the Council of Work and Health were interested in gaining an understanding of the overall thinking, aggregating opinions and having one place to access a cross section of responses.

Hence this compilation which includes an overview of the key themes to emerge, why they matter and what the next steps could be.

Thank you to those organisations who agreed for us to include their response:

ACPOHE; BOHS; Business Disability Forum, CIPD; Council of Work and Health, DPC; FOM; iOH; IOSH, NHS confederation, NHS Health at Work Network, RAND Europe, SOM and the VRA
