Who We Are

Janet O'Neill

Director of Professional Development

Janet trained in South Africa as a general nurse with extra time for good behaviour undertaken doing Midwifery and Psychiatry. Following a move to Swaziland, she moved into Occupational Health as a factory nurse which was a role she thoroughly enjoyed, but very different to the OH we do today.

For the last 17 years she has worked in the private OH sector working with a variety of different clients. This has given her a broad understanding of organisations and their OH needs Janet has worked for PAM for 14 years, starting as a Screening Nurse and she is now a Clinical Nurse Director. She expresses passion for clinical governance and training, which allows her to be very nosy, getting involved with most development projects from a clinical aspect. She also follows people as they join and develop in PAM. She is passionate about training to enable people to grow in the profession in this exciting profession.

She is looking forward to learning a lot from her board peers but also contributing to the growth of others in the multidisciplinary world of OH.
