OH – It’s a kind of Magic

Ruth Alston Memorial Celebration

and

Drinks Reception

iOH, The Association of Occupational Health and Wellbeing Professionals, cordially invite you to join the Board, members and guests at the 2020 Annual Ruth Alston Memorial Silver Jubilee Celebration and Drinks Reception to be held on the evening of Tuesday 10th March 2020, in the Oasis Suite, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Birmingham NEC.

Our Silver Jubilee theme for the evening, which will celebrate 25 years of RAML, will be “Occupational Health – It’s a kind of Magic!”

This early evening event will be a drinks reception and networking with magic and mentalism to challenge our perceptions and preconceptions from Angus Baskerville  and professional pick-pocketing and hypnosis to give insight to power and loss from James Brown from 5:00 pm. Attendees will be welcomed at 5pm for an informal celebration with 2 free glasses of wine and canapés. Our President, Lucy Kenyon and Board Members will be on hand to network with you and discuss our exciting agenda for the coming year.

Keynote speech from an OH nurse who has been recognised at Academic and Government level for her contribution to Occupational Health.

Charlene Gay, University of Derby Graduate and winner of the 2019 iOH Ruth Alston Memorial Award for Excellence in OH Nursing whilst studying for her SCPHN OH qualification will be formally presented with her award by a renown OH nurse specialist. Charlene will network with guests and be available to talk about the unexpected secondary effects of hearing loss (mental health and dementia) and her work improving compliance with hearing protection, particularly among EFL workers.

The evening will also host a free prize draw.

We hope you will join us for what will be an exciting new way to deliver CPD and networking.

Tickets are free and you will be allowed to bring a guest but you must REGISTER to be eligible for the complementary drinks. Tickets are limited – book now!
